Selected candidates will be given the status of boursier du gouvernement français (French government scholar) which entitles them to the following benefits:
- A tuition fee subsidy not exceeding €10,000 for the entire duration of the program
- This subsidy is not convertible to cash and it will be paid directly to the Ffench higher education institution
- A €615 monthly stipend and a yearly €700 installation allowance
- A health care package composed of mandatory sécurité sociale étudiante (national health care package) and a mutuelle (supplementary policy)
NB: Please note that depending on the program’s structure and the potential benefit of a paid stage étudiant (internship) – which a majority of French Master’s degrees now offer – the stipend may be partly or fully suspended during the work period.
